Frequently asked questions

How do I know when caulking needs replacing?

Caulk wears out in the sun and with temperature swings. If it is cracked, shrunken or peeling, or you feel drafts, it’s time.

Can new caulking really reduce drafts?

Yes. Sealing the gaps around frames reduces drafts and keeps moisture out, which can help with energy costs.

Do you caulk homes and commercial buildings?

Yes, both.
